Communal enterprise “Yuri Semenyuk Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital” of Rivne Regional Council is the main treatment and prevention healthcare institution of the region, provides highly specialized (tertiary) inpatient and counseling care for the population of Rivne region and citizens of Ukraine.

Yuri Semenyuk Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital is a base for internships and postgraduate training of graduates of medical and pharmaceutical institutions.

The regional clinical hospital has a license for medical practice indefinitely.

In 2021, it received a Certificate of Conformity to the Requirements of the State Standard DSTU ISO 0001: 2015 “Quality Management Systems. Requirements”.

In February 2022, the institution was accredited and the decision of the Main Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine confirmed the highest category of the enterprise.

Yuri Semenyuk Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital employs the best specialists who have repeatedly confirmed their high level of training, deep knowledge in medicine, and professional skills, needed to save the lives of patients.

Currently, the hospital employs 1,579 medical staff, including 348 doctors. Among them, there is 1 Doctor of Medical Sciences, 13 PhDs, 10 Honoured Doctors of Ukraine. The capacity of the hospital is 719 beds, which are deployed in 13 regional centres, 6 surgical departments and 4 therapeutic departments.

Every year, about 20,000 patients (900 of them from other regions) are treated and 12,000 surgeries are performed in the hospital. The outpatient department provides consultations for more than 120,000 patients a year.

On the basis of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, there is Rivne branch of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care of the faculty of postgraduate education of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.

On the basis of the Regional Centre of Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Vertebrology there is Rivne branch of the Department of Traumatology, Anaesthesiology and Military Surgery of Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Recently, we have received state-of-the-art equipment for ultrasound diagnostics, computed tomography, angiography and laboratory diagnostics.

We also upgraded the equipment for minimally invasive surgical procedures, received the HAAG - STREIT HS Hi-R NEO operating microscope with a system for intraoperative visualization and video recording of surgical interventions on the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, which in turn significantly improves the ophthalmology service. The renovated Emergency Department houses a computer tomograph Aquilion Prime SP 160 slice TSX-303B / 1C, which is designed for the examination of the whole body of children and adults (blood vessels, respiratory, central nervous system, head and neck, spine, bone and joint system, soft tissues, organs of the thoracic, abdominal and retroperitoneal space, pelvis). The system embodies the latest technological developments for fast, silent, vibration-free scanning, high quality images and high resolution. In the emergency department, there is a modern digital inpatient X-ray diagnostic complex MOVIPLAN for two workplaces, which is designed for examination in the radiography of the whole body of adult patients and children.
